Continuing
Professional Development
MMF Training are accredited by the Law Society
and deliver a range of Seminars that meet the Continual
Professional Development (CPD) requirements for Lawyers.
Originally designed with the Artist Manager in
mind, we increasingly find that we cater for a cross section
of the industry including Accountants, Independent and Major
Record Labels, Media Businesses, Publishers and Lawyers, owing
mainly to the range of topics that we cover and our range of
guest speakers. The benefit of our format is the knowledge
sharing and networking possibilities for all involved, as
questions and discussions are fully encouraged. We find that
our format is accommodating to people at every stage of their
career, whether an Artist Manager just getting started, an
established Publisher or an experienced Lawyer brushing up on
contemporary issues, our Master Classes can help delegates to
make or save themselves or their clients money.
Our accreditation by the Law Society is
testament to the quality of our Master Classes and
accompanying literature. We can now offer a product that not
only serves to develop the Lawyer's knowledge and the service
they offer, but also helps them to meet their CPD
requirements. We would like to thank those who have given
their continuous support, be it delegates or guest speakers,
but specifically those that contributed to our accreditation
process.
It is not just Lawyers that can fulfil CPD on
our courses, we are also accredited by the Institute of Legal
Executives and members of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), The Association of
International Accountants (AIA), The Association of Chartered
Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Association of Accounting
Technicians (AAT) can all claim the hours spent on the Master
Classes against their CPD criteria.
In summary:-
Law Society members that attend the London programme may claim
four hours accredited CPD per master class (this is
at intermediate level).
ILEX fellows that attend the Master Class may claim the time
spent on each Master Class against their CPD requirements as
stipulated in the ILEX fellowship agreement.
Members of the ICAEW, AIA, ACCA and AAT may claim the hours
spent on each Master Class against their CPD requirements as
stipulated in their membership details.
All reference numbers and details required to
collect CPD points are provided at each master class in
London.
